Liport is non-custodial. Your keys stay in your wallet. The site can only do what you sign for.
Supported wallets
Any wallet that implements the Solana Wallet Standard. The ones in regular use on Liport:
- Phantom (browser extension and mobile)
- Backpack
- Solflare
- Glow
- Ledger via Phantom or Solflare
Hardware wallets work anywhere a software wallet does, with the usual confirm-on-device step.
Connecting
- Hit Connect Wallet in the top right.
- Pick your wallet.
- Approve the connection in the wallet.
- Sign the Liport sign-in message.
The sign-in message is not a transaction. It costs no gas, moves no tokens and grants no allowances. It only proves the wallet is yours so the backend can issue you a session.
What the session does
After you sign, the backend sets a short-lived JWT in an HttpOnly cookie. The session is used for:
- Marking favourites
- Editing your profile
- Claiming creator rewards from the profile page
Public reads (Discover, token pages, trades, charts) work without a session.
Hit Disconnect to end the session.
Switching wallets
Disconnect, then connect again with the new wallet. Favourites and profile are tied to the wallet address, so a different wallet means a different profile.
What Liport cannot do
- Move funds without your signature.
- Sign transactions for you.
- See or store your seed phrase.
- Set silent token allowances. Solana has no ERC-20 style infinite approvals.
Troubleshooting
“Wallet not detected”. Make sure the extension is installed and enabled. Some wallet extensions sleep after long idle periods. Reload the page.
Sign-in message loops. Clear the session cookie and try again. If your wallet switched accounts mid-session, the backend invalidates the old session.
Ledger signing stalls. Turn on “Blind Signing” in the Solana app on the device. Long transactions like graduation or batch claim can go past the device’s short signing mode.
